Description
A wide variety of psychometrically sound assessment tools for youth mental and behavioral health problems are now available, but it can be difficult to identify and access the tools that are most appropriate for the clinical needs of pediatric primary care and best fit within the contexts of different pediatric integrated care models. This presentation, based on a recently published review of freely-available evidence-based assessment tools for the most common youth mental health problems, will outline a pragmatic framework for evaluating and selecting assessment tools for various practice needs, and highlight key considerations, strategies, and resources for doing so efficiently and effectively.
